Happy Home - Christina & Daphne
We reached out to Daphne's pawrent Christina to see how she's settling in to the good life. Here's what she had to say:
We've had Daphne since December 2025 so 7 months now! 😍 I wanted to adopt a greyhound because the more I looked into them, the more I learned they'd be a great for my lifestyle.
Our trial with Daphne went so well. Thank you to her foster carers for setting us up for a smooth transition.We were probably more anxious than Daphne!
Daphne is 8 years old and very easygoing. Once we saw how easily she fit into our routines we knew we wanted to keep her. She's taken over our couch! It's her house - we just pay the bills.
Daphne is obsessed with meeting other dogs and will drag you across the park to greet one. She does funny little circles trying to find exactly the right way to lay down on her bed. If she isn't happy she will get straight up and start circling again. My favourite thing is the little bouncy dance she does when she comes to greet us at the door!
Daphne loves toys we can hide treats in. A friend gave us a carrot patch. We sometimes find that she has taken some of the carrots to her bed!
