Happy Home - Lucy and Joni
We reached out to Joni's parent Lucy to see how she is settling in. Here's what she had to say:
We've had Joni for about 7 months now!
She's the perfect teaching assistant. She sits in on all my singing lessons and the students love her. She’ll greet them with a wagging tail, then she just dozes away, not bothered at all. She often falls asleep when I play the guitar.
Once we started the adoption trial, I knew pretty quickly that Joni was staying with me forever. She made herself right at home immediately and it felt like she belonged!
Joni loves our local bakery and has become a big fan of croissants for a special treat, with a side of pats for anyone offering.
Her favourite toy is Mr Shark. She gets so excited when she hasn't seen it in a while. She loves a cuddle. She will jump onto the bed, and reposition herself so she can snuggle up close with her head over my lap.
A big thanks to our dedicated team of Foster Carers and Case Managers who helped get Joni ready for adoption and find her forever family!
